I am falling........

As someone said – We suffer in Silence. Or rather we suffer because of Silence. The human experience is singular in its suffering. There hasn't been a human who has walked on this planet, not even one who has escaped great pain and deep sorrow. Yet we don't want to admit it to each other. Our suffering, we assume is a shameful secret to be locked away, never even to be whispered to each other, lest it diminishes us. We Indians are especially good at this kind of insularity. Keeping our personal pain hidden away is worn as some badge of honour. We die saddled with our grief, lonely and tormented by what we suffer.

But maybe my story is similar in many homes. If it’s not and is better, I will be the happiest one and can truly say – India is shining. Ever since I have interacted with the world, I have believed that truth cannot be hidden and can be used as a mighty sword. But then…..

It all started when I had decided to leave the shores of my country in search of greener pastures. I left behind my aged parents for a few extra bucks. With it I also started living internally and forgetting that life is to lead externally. I stepped into an alien country with a hope of leading a better quality of life. Quality at that moment was in a way having more money; which I believe turned out to be false, contrary to our construction philosophy – “Quality comes at a Price”.

Now after ten months of life in gulf, I have had more negatives than positives. I had lost contact with most of the people back home in my native country. I had lost touch with relatives. More important than anything else, I lost touch with myself. I have become used to the machine life. No recreation, No entertainment, No laughter and No love. All I had was a job a.k.a career and then a place to sleep to restart my job the following day. All this made me realize that trying to be rich; I was only becoming poorer by the day.

In the end, at this very moment, I realized I only was another classic example of – “Why look for diamonds elsewhere, when you can find it within you”.

THE FRIENDSHIP TRAIN - PART 1

It’s been a long time since I posted my first blog. But then, you can’t defy your destiny, Right? Having been on a horrendous journey since the time I posted my first blog, I am now trying to settle down after facing the obstacles that constitute my LIFE. While the process of resettlement continues, I have slowly started to realized the importance of being content with life. Being content is a form of happiness. Happiness for every individual takes many forms, but the end result in sync with the need of every other human being is Satisfaction. I may sound philosophical, but very few may disagree to my statement because life is all about satisfaction.

There are times in your life where you feel the utmost happiness and those times often called memories, when looked back down the years makes you upbeat, only to be cherished pricelessly.

From the past few days, I have been toying to the idea of bringing out some of those vivid moments in front of you through my writings in this blog. It may sound philosophical, emotional and sentimental to many, but then that’s the way I have been. Probably, there lies the difference between me and this present world. I only hope this post creates a sense of feeling I possessed of the good old “NICMAR” days, the experience of which go far beyond the Post Graduation degree that I have achieved. It ear marks the time in deed, where yours truly grew from boy to man.

Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.

-- Albert Camus

The whole concept of “Fate choosing our Relations and us choosing our Friends” holds good for all human beings. Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

To meet & depart is the way of life.

But to depart & meet is hope of life.

We meet to create memories,

But we depart to preserve it

And this is life my friends.

Not many believe that the completion of our PG is actually the beginning of an everlasting friendship. The time spent together can never be replicated again in the future. Those Xerox notes, those night outs, those tensions before the exam. These all don’t come again. These are the moments that make us move through with a smile on our face. As we slam the door of our student days, we take away those special moments away from our hearts, filled with love.

My friends, today with each one of us on course to fly to our own world of dreams, in between, carving for a place to cherish these moments, I only hope that this blog or post help us in at least acting as a platform in recreating the magical moments we spent and help us to fly back to praise those days where lust for life and friendship was stronger than fear.

Life may change; hope may vanish, but can die not. So please do spread the message of love & friendship because the two offices of those moments are COLLECTION and DISTRIBUTION.

“In the rhythm of life, sometimes we find ourselves out of tune,

But as long as there are people like us to provide the melody,

The beat goes on………..”

THE REALITY ILLUSION

Dear Friends,

This is my first blog and I thought, I start by writing on something related to an incident which has changed the world's perception towards terrorism. However, the known fact that I am a typical person who likes to  do things in a different way, as always there lies the twist. Being my first blog, I would like to write through my natural talent available……not merely for some publicity but because of the flair I possess and also to showcase the talent I had possessed all these years without much exposure of it to my near and dear.

Frenz, the poetry was written 2 days after the eventful attack and was not much distributed by me amongst my friends with an exception of a small finite number. So, having this in my mind, I just thought it was best if I put this up on my very first blog and then continue to add more blogs to write in my name by addressing some issues inspired from the society and of course my personal life as well.

While I don’t expect one and all to be there always to view some crap I write about, I only wish I can at least have some on my friends to provide some frank feedbacks and help me mature as a writer…all in the quest of making my passion and dream of being a reporter one fine day in my life.

The below poem describes an intense view of the poet having visualized clips of the extent to which terror can move (post 9/11) and imbibe in us the fear of losing our near and dear. The poet here also visualizes him being at the site of the attack a couple of days later and his description of the same is put forth in a poetic manner.

THE  REALITY ILLUSION

As I was walking around,

Like never before in my life

I realized

I had come to that site,

Where once, everything what stood was white.

So huge it was,

With such architectural beauty,

That the workers duty,

Was well appreciated to a cause

Without any pause.

They were so tall,

And said that they would never fall.

But then that day finally came

When fate ended a long game.

It was a disaster worst than the nukes,

And never ever found in the history books.

This was, so a black day

As everybody were lead only to that one way.

Watching people in a state of sorrow

I could imagine what could come on morrow.

Everybody who were called the best,

Were put to a serious test.

This involved people of many ages,

Who just then were out of cages.

They practice what they preached,

And there was no way it could be breached.

They had the will,

That was used only to kill.

This was now the toughest case,

As nobody knew their face.

Manay lost their life’s;

Others lost their wives.

Some lost their dear,

Others lost their near.

It was September,

And certainly a month to remember.

The truth brought us to tears,

For the joy they brought all these years.

Finally when I started my walk,

Amidst much influential talk

There came something indicating on my palm,

Asking me to stay calm.

But then this was too late,

As I lost me fellow mates

To one of the world’s dangerous act of hate

In the country of fifty states.
